Dynamite Muaythai - big success!
On June 25th, Dynamite Muay Thai held their second Naksoo all female fight night. I was given the opportunity to fight not only on the night, but in my first Super 4 at 57kgs. Each girl came from a different state within Australia, WA, VIC, QLD and of course NT. Each of the girls are very experienced and I was fortunate enough to have faced them all in the ring before. At weigh in they drew our names from a hat, Alice (WA) and Sam (QLD) drew for the first fight then it was Pam (VIC) and I drew for the second bout. I knew Pam was the strongest girl in the 4 and I was glad that I drew her first. We had a solid fight, which was my best performance to date and I took the win on a unanimous decision. Alice won her bout against Sam, so Alice and I faced off in the final. I felt good climbing back into the ring for the second time in the night. Alice and I fought for the three rounds and the result came down to a split decision, which gave me the win, naming me the Naksoo Champion!
It was an incredible event, the fights through out the night were all great matches and the sportsmanship behind the scenes was genuine. I got the opportunity to meet so many people from different areas in Muay Thai, that alone was amazing. I'm so grateful for the chance to be able to fight on Naksoo and look forward to be able to fight on that show again!
